I remember having this long conversation with my cousin Ryan about how there are those you talk to on AIM, Facebook or basically on the internet who have this persona of having the ability to think or act a certain way(i.e. from recent things I've noticed in some people I know) But when it comes being in the presence of actual people not behind a computer screen or keyboard. They become the complete opposite, kept to themselves some socially awkward. Some don't even know how to keep good eye contact when you conversate with them. Looking side to side just wont get you ladies while you talk. There's also the really outgoing types on the internet but in person you would not expect them to be that same person online. This rant is just really random buts its been bugging me for quite sometime now cause I always see it and I'm kind of glad someone else notices it too. Some of the many things I notice also which has happened to me a couple of times from the same person. Talk down or put something on blast one day then randomly bring it up as a good thing to start a conversation with me. Especially in a setting where there a tons of people you don't really feel comfortable around. I notice the weirdest things. Why can't people just act like themselves nowadays.

At some point in your life you have to be some sort of aficionado to some sort of transportation device. A lot of my friends are so heavily interested with cars and as a kid I was into it, but in a more naive sense. As I got older I lost interest and not care really just as long as it works and looks nice. They go out buy parts take things off and put them back on etc. I never really understood that until I got involved with bicycles. I can honestly say I know that feeling I guess. Ever since I got my bike which is a piece of shit with things stripping and breaking etc. It taught me more and more about my bike and the build. I've been riding for about a couple of months and I bought my fixed gear as a mode of transportation esp around the Seattle area, then eventually got into freestyling/tricking. I was always curious ever since my freshman year about the culture. Saved up some money bought a bike and started riding away. Bike parts aint cheap though, especially for paying what you get. I hope this Christmas I am in WANT for a new everything. I might even buy a new bike. If money only grew on trees. Especially if things are breaking on me and etc.

This is the build I want, Super clean and can take up a beating but $$$ fml

I plan to build a pure trick bike but I know its gonna take time and some money to finally complete one..awesome

I looked outside the window just now and I noticed the water started to ice just a tad bit. A few days ago when I woke up I took a peek out my window and I saw the leaves blowing and thought to myself, wow fall is actually here. Felt like just yesterday it was scorching hot and I'm on the beach in Maui or back up north with some friends skating and getting into some sort of mischief. School is back in effect and everyone has parted their ways and the fun ends. So this song pretty much sums up everything in my book

So 3 weeks has gone in Seattle and I have to say I've had some pretty interesting encounters like getting in the middle of a protest, stumbling into a commercial for Bank of America. I honestly wasn't expecting much coming to this school when coming to drinking and partying. Though there has been the keg at the Fountain bike run and other random PBR sponsored shindigs. But other than that its been pretty mellow, the halls quiet and the feint array of different music genres from room to room. Met a few awesome people over here who are pretty hardcore with their craft from music, dance and art/design. A majority of people here are unique in their own ways but some of the nicest people I've met. Cool, now I'm just ranting but anyways just felt like I needed to blog since the season was shifting...yup thats my blog time line now, every season one long post about my life lol. Well its almost 1am and I have one more assignment to finish

I just moved in the other day finally! I'm on 7th ave whattap! Its something I still have to adjust to. Not gonna lie, when my parents left I was like "so uh......what now?" for a little bit. Still getting the hang of living on my own. Looking forward to one thing though is that I'm bringing my board and fixie next week which I am pretty hyped on. Still kinda bummed that summer is over and school starts tomorrow but whatever. In the meantime chilling in my dorm making juice-pops and doing push-ups I have been playing music because I seriously will go insane if there is no music playing, why? Because I tried the whole no music dealy for an hour and my god that was the longest hour ever. Aside from chilling in my room I've been meeting a few people over here but it seems like everyone is always in there room. Anyways as semi-random this blog is here are my current jams so far.

I'm actually feeling this new Kanye jam!

played more than once within the majority of the day

Got ripped up on the sand while the waves pushed me down boogie boarding. On top of the trillion miles of walking on the sun and being sun burnt, I'm fine. Took some cool photos though.

Sirnikko is in Maui!

Still here in Maui and I really needed something like this to get away from everything. Honestly being here for my first time kind of brought a nostalgic sense of being back in the Phillipines. I mean from the greenery, the smell of all the food and to the kind humid atmosphere. I even say Maui is an organized "Phillipnes". I really needed this little get away from a more recent incident regarding my car. A few adjustments had to cut back a couple of days to our trip, hell we were not even planning on coming anymore due to my car being stolen. Speaking of my car, for those who didn't know. My car was stolen within the waking hours of 4am to 5am, just as we were about to get ready. My dad opened my garage asking me where my car went. I honestly did not know how to react. I mean c'mon honestly right now? Why not another time please? I seriously thought someone just move my car to just fuck with me. I couldn't believe what was going on, I mean WHY NOW?! So then long story short a few depressing hours of "Fuck no more Hawaii" and a couple of hours of napping. Police department called saying they found my car all the way on highway 2 just passed Snohomish/Everett area at some fishing area. The only reason why it was found was they ditched it to go steal another car. I can understand why cause my radio doesn't work HAHA! When we went to take a look at my car, I understood there would be things missing like my moms rosary, ornaments and even my rear-view mirror but still no idea if my shoes are still in my trunk, I find at when I get back to the mainland.

So far I've just been spending time with my family golfing, enojying shaved ice and just not caring about all the problems in life. Everyone here is so nice and outgoing and I FELL IN LOVE WITH HAWAIIAN BAKED GOODS! I am already a big fan of breads, cakes and desserts but oh man baked goods here are on a whole new level....ahh the good things in life! LOL

I came across this video by Matix a few minutes ago. Normally I wouldnt really blog about stuff like this but I'm really digging their whole direction with their latest line. The old American work wear inspiration is something that seems to be a trending forecast in the street fashion world at the moment. It felt like it was just yesterday everyone was wearing all over prints and loud prints. I really like the fact that Matix's fabrication is here in the U.S. Attempting my little cut & sew line this past year took forever to finish. Four pieces of clothing took me how many months? ALOT! So I give a big thumbs up to the dudes at Matix, gNaR!

So I actually find a reason to log in onto my Myspace account. I remembered the whole Imeem and Myspace dealy. Turns out a majority of my playlists and music transferred onto Myspace. So browsing and looking at the time line of all the songs I noticed my shift in genres and artists I noticed

-I hate Wale but the only mixtape I admired was "The Mixtape about Nothing", The only mixtape I had during my trip last summer in the Phillipnes

-Charles Hamilton I dislike also, except for that one song "In case I actually get her", Rihanna sample still rips in my book.

-Passion Pit was cool for a day, but now they're annoying and lame
-MGMT sucks, time to pretend was the only hit banging...Kids was okay for a little while

-Band of Horses and The Smiths...don't even get me started on how awesome they are

-Kenna you still making music? Songs rip man Baptized in Blacklight was the best

-Then I had this stage of House, Electronica and Electro club music. My stay in the Phillipines made me love this type of music even more. All the clubs had a variety of remixes and DJ's. During my travel I had herd that Steve Aoki had a set in Makati one of the nights there but we were already heading over to Boracay. Would of been so sick to see. Would love to see Justice, Steve Aoki, Boyz Noize live.

-Cool Kids??? You guys still there? LOL or was that just sophmore year of high school?

-I got tired of all this drum and bass and went back to yelling and un-tuned instruments. Cerebral Ballzy the modern day Bad Brains, my favorite punk band at the moment. The weeks where I needed some homies, a beer and my skateboard.

-Sex Pistols suck

-Bun B forever trill RIP Pimp C, I remember one week straight was just southern Hip-Hop

-Kid Cudi, though you're overplayed you are a musical wizard in my book. Sampling vampire weekend, band of horses and to even old school Surface!!

-I grew to love Animal Collective

-John Legend is a reason I attempt to sing in the car or play the piano

-Black on Both sides was my favorite album

-I remember "Paper Planes" was the jam till Pineapple Express, but that movie was okay too

-Jaques Jams was so well made, Chester French you killed it with so many other collab's in that mixtape, also the track with Janelle Monae was my jam

-And speaking of Janelle Monae, she is killing it right now

-Seeing sounds was okay, but Fly or Die is forever the best NERD album

-Too many new rappers to keep up with today...Curren$y, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa etc etc...who cares..I never caught on with them "Say Yeah" was probably the closest.

-All those "Jerk" music groups...good times

-70's music never gets old

-I fucking love Stones Throw records

-I grew to loving Converge

-Vimby made me realize how hardcore Norwegian black metal is

-Actually, Passion Pit sucks

-Adele has a nice voice!

-Thank me later wasn't so great, "You Fancy Huh?" wasn't so fancy after all..

Wow looking at all these old playlists brings back a lot of things. I basically just spilled what was in my head....cool

Wow talk about not updating this thing. Its been awhile blogspot, yeah i've been cheating on you with Tumblr cause its easier to just put pictures up from my phone and creating posts that sum up my day and other mishaps. We'll summer is coming to a close being that its already August and before you know it were on to the next summer. I already see a few people on facebook posting up and telling everyone they have a few days left to spend before theyre off to wherever they are for school...its winding down fast. Summer just blew past all of us, as for me I have 26-27 days left till I'm off in downtown Seattle. This past summer I guess I can say I was somewhat busy with things. The fact that I'm working really made it go by also. There are a few things I'm still trying to knock off my list of "Things to do" during this summer. I'll try to make the most of it with the time left. I just realized i'll be gone at the end of this month too, I'll be in Hawaii for a little bit then as soon as I get home I'm off! WTF!~

So far I guess I can say summer was relaxing or smooth sailing. Everyones busy and some days I'm left with nothing to do and sometimes it'd be nice to spend summer with a significant other but all I can do is just wonder but all is well. On an another note this summer so far, consisted of allow people passing away from old to young its still sad to hear but I'm sure everyone's off in a better place. Oh, and people getting pregnant...I almost forgot this summer was like that movie on Lifetime "Pregnancy Pact" lot's of people I know getting knocked up ahahahaha but its all good.

well in the meantime I just gotta soak up the time I have left and make new memories to think back on while i'm suffering in my dorm

Vitalire X Relay for life

My good friends and fellow graduates, Craig and Conner over at Vitalire had asked me to do this special project for the "Relay For Life" here at Arlington High School. The goal was to help donate money for the American Cancer Society. This was a special project to me because I have family members that either have suffered and diagnosed with cancer. A very simple and bold design and to commemorate breast cancer awareness as well. A very successful event which raised about $227,603.49. Its moving to know that a group of people fighting for a cause can really impact the world around you. There are still some "Save Lives" tee's available but act now the shirts are limited and still all proceeds from the available tee's will be going to the American Cancer Society. Be sure to hit them up for a size and tell them I sent ya! Lets make a difference people!

Talk about WAY BACK THEN! I found this old gif for a preview of Jeepney's old Spring or Summer line??? Who knows. This was probably around my sophmore year. The shoot was fun, met a lot of people who share the same tastes backgrounds etc etc. I want to do some more modeling shoots for another clothing company this summer. Though I have no modeling or even intend to take modeling as a career, its just FUN!

LOL I think I was camera shy during this shoot too. I had no idea what to do haha

Homies

Five years ago I moved into a neighborhood called Magnolia. Coming from the other side of the bridge in Smokey Point. I majority of the time I grew up around white kids thus making me the minority. I wasn't really kept in touch with other colored kids like myself. Sure there were a few here and there at the old school I used to go to. But then moving to Magnolia I begin to meet kids of the same color and background. At first it was "Cool making colored friends" but time passes and shit changes. There was drama here and there. But in all reality going through that really brought the best and true people I've gotten to know whether it be negative or positive. Also it tested me as a person by bringing out what I can really handle and what I really am. So I guess I'm kind of glad that I went through some sort of bullshit. Like I said time passes and the whole "Making colored friends" dealy changed. Now the select few I have grown bonds with. I can really say these guys became some of the best friends I have. My best friends are White, Black, Canadian, Hella "Kahzin Mangoes" Mixed etc etc. Some good times with these mowfuggas. From over excessive 4 lokos and the instant hate for fruity flavored juices the next day, running from guard dogs trying to get a good skate spot and to even road tripping up north and eating out at a King Buffet. I can go on with memories even boring sounding ones but to us was just right.

While we're all growing up everyone is bound to go about on their own path. A few of us have left already and this neighborhood is gonna be empty. No more kids walking around aimlessly at night, no more cops being called in for kids banging on porta-potty's and chilling in the middle of the street. I know for a fact in the future we are going to be reunited, nothing is gonna change between all of us. Still the same old group that laughs at the things that are not even appropriate to laugh at. Jokes about each others race and randomly getting into wrestling matches. But as for now here are my friends...

Gheah

So the past couple of months have been a never ending time span of work work work and and by work I mean 30% "in-school" and 70% "outside". Now its really winding down and now that we have about ten days left, it still hasn't hit me that I'm about to step into the real world. I'm ready to experience the real meaning of that. At the same time I have friends and family(friends basically)leaving to go do their own thing. This is just a taste of the moment everyone and I mean everyone that I have grown up with and I've got to build memories with depart their own ways. Time is really making its way, and wtf its almost June?! Well I guess I got to stop babbeling on the whole sadness aspect of graduation and school. I should start getting into summer mode. I think around April I started making some plans to hopefully make this last summer as a ergh ex-"senior".

-Go to Canada
-Skate road trip up (Oak Harbor, Anacortes, Burlington parks)
-Build things
-Make Clothes
-Make the most of summer with my friends
-Making some $$$
-Meet new people
-Stay fit and consistent w/ work outs
-Cliff Dive in Hawaii this summer
-Learn how to do cooler flips and aerials
-Fishing!!
-Get dark and walk around in short shorts
-Meet someone famous and be friends with them
-Make Movies with my friends
-Have a big Ghetto bbq with west coast gangsta rap as the theme
-A Party just for fun
-A kickback on a boat
-Record songs as a band with my friends
-Find a Drum set or digital drum set
-Buy my bicycle finally and go on a bike ride with my friends
-Golf
-Show some fine ladies the "freaky zeaky thug nasty" at a club HAHAHA

Im sure I can spend hours thinking of the things I am looking forward to but for now all I can say is......10 MOWFUGGIN DAYZZ!@#@$#

"Ain't tricking if you got it".....Pandora started playing the song so I just had to inform you readers and SPEAKING OF READERS I HIT 3000+ Viewers?!?!??!??! Noice!

RIP Jun Seba "Nujabes"

From hearing auruarian dance back in the early days of middle school to countless nights watching Samurai Champloo and even spending hours with some of your music in the garage dancing endlessly. You will be missed.

This little escapade was on short notice by me hitting up Jeremy on behalf of his Facebook status lol. I mean we had to of seized the day, c'mon it was perfect out too. Took a trip down ergh..up to Oak Harbour to drop a few things off at Jeremy's aunties house. Stopped by the local skateshop gizmo's and the skatepark. Man..the park smashes Arlington lol not gonna lie. While we were there, we had the choices of either Applebee's or a Buffet. So we came to the conclusion of trying something new since we always eat at Applebee's every single time were out. The outcome, the best buffet meal ive had in awhile.

Artsy Fartsy

So to make up for my dads uncalled behavior the other night basically having me miss the art gallery opening. I took the time to drive down to Everett and see everything by myself, of course I had to bring Aldrin because we were on a Free Pancakes run brought to you by I-hop. Alot of these pictures include the art I saw and appreciated. The little sections I enjoyed looking at. ALSO! a personal and very talented friend of mine SHAINA! You can see her work in these pictures, I love her work. Being in the room itself really pushes you and inspires.

Photobucket
Gold Key winners, you can see Shaina's vanity piece at the top corner right

Aldrin showing how much he likes this piece

Photobucket
The exhibit is filled with over hundreds of entry's all over Snohomish County

Photobucket
Gold Key's and Shaina's vanity piece

Photobucket
"Coq" So simple yet nearly crossing the line, I love it.

Photobucket
This piece caught my eye, the color layout overall

Photobucket
LOOK AT THE ZEBRAS WTF?!!!

Photobucket
Here we come to my piece that I consider "Art"

Photobucket
(Vector image of Kermit the frog done on Adobe Photoshop CS4)
From the oversaturated imagery we see that is inverted, flipped and sold. Imagery that is used and abused. That was my concept behind all that.
