A day out in Seattle

It was so nice out and it was perfect, field trip to Seattle Art Museum was off the chain! A lot of the exhibits didn't interest me what-so-ever. A lot of the work being displayed are currently ergh mostly Yale students. In pieces of traditional American art and international cultures style of work. But one artist by the name of Titus Kaphar (click the link for more info and insight of the artist) really swept me off my feet. I was fascinated by his work because not only can he paint but his pieces really tell a story and the visual interpretation from the medium tar he uses and cutting and rearranging the his canvas is amazing. I really learned a lot about the way perspective work especially through abstract art as well. Ms. Koenig gave me this huge lecture about visual interpretaion, it gets really intense. But the whole day was great, chilled with cousin reezy and walked around and I was the reason why we had to wait before we leave cause I got on the bus late!
